Katherine Watson was shocked when she started work at Wellesley College, which was considered an allo-girls school of outstanding merit. Katherine had been hired as the new art teacher and quickly learnt that the fantastically intelligent girls had no respet for the subject, which they considered to be no less academic than mathematics. In a bid to open their minds to the expansive reaches of art, Katherine found herself breaking down an ever growing number of prejudices, which these girls had been force-fed by their social circles.
