While the gang war between Afro-Americans and Jews is going on, a young man (Josh Hartnett), who lives in the apartment of one of his friends, has his identity mistaken for somebody else and finds himself caught in the crossfire between two of the cities most notorious crime lords, "The Boss" and "The Rabbi". With all eyes on him, he tries to forge a plan to escape his situation, especially when being forced to kill the son of one of the crime bosses.
