Melanie, the young daughter of a butcher is a gifted pianist. Her parents put her forward to study at the famous Conservatory, but Melanie is distracted during the entrance exam due to a rude juror and fails. Some years later, after abandoning music, she finds herself being asked to work for the now former juror, as a nanny. Living in his house, with his family, Melanie patiently waits to get her revenge.
