An Iraq-set drama based on the Mahmudiyah killings in March 2006. Using video, documentary and CCTV footage the film charts the moral and mental decay of the soldiers involved. One young squad member is keeping a video diary in which he documents the daily boredom and the suddeness of tragedy. When nerves start to fray, two members of the squad decide to seek venge the death of a colleague on a family of innocent civilians. However Salazar, the aspiring film-maker, catches the horror of their actions on tape.
