Living in upstate New York, next to the little-known Canadian border crossing on the Mohawk reservation, the temptation to make some quick cash from smuggling presents a daily challenge. This is particularly true for Ray Eddy, a single mum whose job at the local store barely earns enough to feed her two children. When Ray is introduced to another single struggling mother, a Mohawk named Lila, the pair decide to try their hand at smuggling, however the petty criminals' luck is soon to run out.
