A young man with a history of heartbreak, mental illness and repeated suicide attempts is living with his parents and working at their laundry business when he finds his affections torn between the beautiful and grounded daughter of a family friend who has fallen in love with him, and an erratic and passionate neighbour whose exciting life is everything he thinks he deserves from existence.
