The stories are told through the country's urban myths from the perspective of ordinary people. The first short is set on the occasion of Ceausescu's working visits. There countryside mayors are told to hang fruit in trees so that their villages would be noticed. The second talks about the Communist Party's secret regulations which stated that in official pictures President Ceausescu couldn't take his hat off in front of the representatives of the rotten capitalistic world. The third follows a professional driver who opens his sealed truck for the first time and discovers a connection between eggs, Easter and marital love. The fourth is about a policeman who is gifted a live pig as gift before Christmas. He decides that gas poisoning would be the best way to kill the animalwithout it getting noticed by his hungry neighbors. The fifth story is set in 1980's Romania. Bughi and Crina play a type of Bonnie and Clyde who rob people of bottled air.
