Michael Raymond-James is een Amerikaanse acteur, geboren op 24 december 1977 in Detroit. Hij is vooral bekend als de ruige René Lenier uit de vampierserie True Blood. Raymond-James studeert af aan het Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York en is daarna te zien in series als CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, Medium, Boston Legal en ER. Zijn filmdebuut maakt hij in 2006 in het smeulende drama Black Snake Moan, met Samuel L. Jackson en Christina Ricci. Hij is daarna onder meer te zien in de actiefilm Jack Reacher en de sprookjesserie Once Upon a Time.
