An adaptation of the celebrated novel by Charles Dickens set in Victorian England. Oliver is a young boy, on the run from a brutal orphanage. He falls in with a wily pickpocket called Fagin, who soon enlists him into his small army of thieves who cash in on poor, unsuspecting folk on the streets of London. All the while, there are secrets from Oliver's family history yet to be uncovered. Oliver is eventually rescued from a tragic fate when he finds a decent family to look after him.
