A remake of the 1971 film with George Segal. Here, Jim Carrey plays the husband who must announce to the public that the company he works for has gone bust. While he and his wife formerly enjoyed the good life, they find themselves empoverished with no income, no savings and no pension. They try to find work, but don't even have any luck, even when applying to dead-end jobs. To put an end to their miserable situation, they both to turn to a life of crime, organising various heists on their rich friends' accounts.
