Robert De Niro's study into the origins of the CIA follows Edward Wilson, a Yale student involved in the secret Skull and Bones society who is recruited to the newly created Central Intelligence Agency. As the cold war develops so does this very principalled young man's paranoia, to the extent that he questions everything he stood for and loses all concept of what was once important to him.
