Doppelganger. Sobowtór

The film takes viewers back to the time of the late 1970s and early 1980s, and is set on both sides of the Iron Curtain. Hans Steiner (Jakub Gierszał) lives in the bustling city of Strasbourg, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the West. He blends into the local community while simultaneously carrying out espionage activities. Jan Bitner (Tomasz Schuchardt) lives with his family in Gdańsk and works at the shipyard. Seemingly nothing connects the two men, but the past hides a secret which they will both have to face when confronted with the question of their own identity.
