Ralph Waldo "Petey" Greene was an ex-convict who changed the face of US culture during the 60s when he managed to talk his way into becoming a radio presenter, and then become one of the most popular figures in Washington because of his choice of music, and his tough rhetoric, which boosted the cause of the African-American throughout the city.
