The fire is Shahrukh and Anushka's marriage is fast fading, there is little romance between them and the large age gap further pulls them apart. When Anushka learns of the gameshow Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, she wants nothing more than to star in it, however she immediately dismisses the idea, thinking her husband too old and out of shape. Shahrukh soon hears of Anushka's desires and begins to teach himself the art of dance and seduction and it's not long before Anushka is won over to his ‘new and improved' ways.
