Set during the Scond World War, this true story tells the tale of of four Jewish brothers who escape their Nazi-occupied homeland of West Belarus in Poland and flee to the Belarussian forest where they join forces with Russian Resistance fighters to combat their opressors. The brothers soon become embroiled in a massive rescue operation as they attempt to extricate 1,200 Jews still trapped in the Polish ghettos and lead them to the relative safety of a secret village deep in the woods.
