Peter is a successful real estate agent, who is about to marry the woman of his dreams, however, when faced with the task of picking his best man, he comes to the startling realisation that he has no close male friends. In an attempt to fix the problem, Peter decides to audition potential best-buds - by embarking on a series of bizarre and awkward man-dates. Success appears to be found in the form of the charming yet opinionated Sydney Fife, who seems to be all that Peter is looking for. But as the wedding day draws closer, the grooms growing friendship with his new pal begins to threaten his relationship with his fiancée, forcing Peter to choose between his bromance, and true romance.
