When Kym (Anne Hathaway), an ex-model with a history of substance-abuse problems, checks out of rehab and returns to her family home for the wedding of her older sister Rachel (Rosemarie Dewitt), she brings with her a long history of simmering family crises. As the festivities unfold, those unspoken truths come boiling to the surface in a series of confrontations which see the tight family unit threaten to come apart at the worst possible time...
