Anxious, disorientated and half-wild with fear, Sarah Carter emerges alone from the Appalachian cave system. Fresh in the memory of the unspeakable terrors she encountered there. Sarah is unable to justify to the authorities what happened, or why she's covered in her friends' blood. As a result, she is forced to return to the subterranean depths in search of her five missing companions.
