Childhood friends, Toni and Andi, share the same dream, to climb the North face of the Eiger. As yet unconquered and known amoung climbers as 'the death face', the pair are convinced that they can be the first to reach the top, earning them the social recognition they crave. However, with the weather taking a change for the worse, they face the toughest of tasks.
