Seventeen-year-old Ronnie's life is turned upside-down when she is sent by her concerned mother to spend the summer with her father, from whom she has been distant since her parents' divorce three years ago. There she meets someone who will change her life forever and make her question her father's hopes of her becoming a concert pianist.
