Mike Blueberry is the marshal of a peaceful little town on the edge of Indian territory. Chaos breaks out however when a mysterious killer, Wally Blount, turns the village into a blazing inferno. He is in search of treasure hidden in the sacred Indian mountains. Blueberry goes out looking for him, wih the help of Runi, an Indian sorcerer with whom he grew up. The two men must prevent the killer getting into the secret sanctuary. But in the heart of the sacred mountains, Blueberry will also have to do battle with his internal demons.
